INGREDIENTS

500 g frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries)

50 g raw cane sugar

120 g whipping cream

METHOD

  1. Place raw cane sugar into mixing bowl and mill 15 sec Speed 10.
  2. Add frozen berries and crush 20 sec Speed 8. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  3. Add whipping cream and blend 40 sec Speed 5 with aid of spatula, moving clockwise and anticlockwise. Transfer ice cream into a freezable container.
  4. Place the ice cream in the freezer for an hour before serving.

 

Tip: For a smoother texture, freeze ice cream till it is firm and repeat step 2.

Variation:  Freeze any fruits into small cubes to use in recipe.
